Dorothy M. Woldum

Dorothy Marie "Dottieā€ (Hall) Woldum, formerly of Pinellas Park, Florida, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Waconia Ridgeview Medical Center's Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Victoria, Minnesota.

She was born in Chester, Iowa on December 8, 1916. Dorothy married Telford Woldum on April 9, 1936. They were married for 67 years and raised their two daughters, Barbara and Donna, in Osage, Iowa. After Telford's regional career moves in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota they retired to Springwood II, a retirement community in Pinellas Park, Florida, where they participated in the community life. Dorothy was an active member of the St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Pinellas Park.

Dorothy always took part in the activities available in Florida as she participated with her husband during their enjoyable retirement years together. She excelled at cooking, gardening, numerous crafts, and being a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Blythe, Athens, Texas and Donna (Gary) Bailey, Victoria, Minnesota; a brother, Dale ( Mary Lou) Hall, Waterloo, Iowa; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

The double inurnment for Dorothy and Telford will be held at a later date at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah, Iowa.
